CLIMBING CENTRE INSTRUCTOR
Main Roles Of This Position Will Include:
- Instructing a range of sessions for adults and children, including our developmental coaching schemes and NICAS classes
- Reception duties such as signing in customers, managing bookings, taking payments and answering messages
- Assisting customers during their session to ensure they have a safe and enjoyable visit to the centre
- Carrying out and recording regular safety checks
- Assisting with route stripping, setting and cleaning
Successful candidates will have the following attributes:
Essential
- A passion for climbing and a desire to introduce more people to the sport
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- An active member of the climbing community with a wide range of climbing experience
- Experience working with groups in a climbing or activity centre environment
- Must be able to work days, evenings and weekends
- Good I.T skills
- RCI or CWI qualified
Desirable
- Fundamentals of Climbing Levels 1 and 2
- CWDI qualified
- A good level of personal climbing ability
