Weekends
10am till 6pm
Summer Hours:
April 1st to September 30th
Monday
12pm till 10pm (10am upon request)
Tuesday
12pm till 10pm (10 upon request)
Wednesday/Thursday/Friday
10am till 10pm
Weekends
10am till 6pm
External instructors bringing groups to the wall must provide copies of a valid instructor qualification certificate (CWI/RCI), first aid certificate and insurance policy.
This does not include harness or shoe hire. Shoe and harness hire available subject to availability.

External Instructor Terms & Conditions
ROF 59 Climbing Centre
These Terms & Conditions apply to all external instructors and organisations wishing
to deliver climbing sessions at our facility.
1. Instructor Requirements
All external instructors must provide the following documentation prior to delivering
any session:
Valid and appropriate climbing qualifications relevant to the activities being delivered
A current First Aid certificate
Proof of Public Liability Insurance (minimum cover of £5 million recommended)
We reserve the right to refuse access if documentation is not provided or deemed
insufficient.
2. Booking & Facility Use
All external instructors must book in advance before running any sessions at the
climbing wall.
If the wall has pre-existing sessions, lessons, or events scheduled, external
instructors must coordinate their bookings accordingly.
We reserve the right to refuse access or cancel sessions if prior booking
arrangements have not been made.
3. Unauthorised Sessions
Any instructor or group arriving without a prior booking may be refused permission to
run a session.
This is to ensure safety, capacity management, and a positive experience for all
users.
4. Participant Registration
All participants must be registered under the external instructor or organisation they
are attending with.
The external instructor is responsible for the supervision, safety, and conduct of their
participants at all times.
5. Responsibility & Conduct
External instructors are responsible for:
Ensuring all participants are briefed on safety procedures
Using equipment appropriately and safely
Adhering to all site-specific rules and staff instructions
Any unsafe practices may result in immediate termination of the session.
6. Compliance with Wall Rules
All instructors and participants must follow the climbing wall’s rules and policies at all
times.
Staff decisions are final in matters relating to safety and operational management.
7. Right to Refuse Access
We reserve the right to refuse access or terminate sessions where:
Documentation is incomplete or invalid
Bookings have not been made in advance and agreed with us before hand.
(Regardless of payment method)
Safety standards are not met
Behaviour is deemed inappropriate or unsafe or interfere with sessions already in place.
8. Agreement
By booking and delivering sessions at our facility, external instructors agree to abide
by these Terms & Conditions.
