Starting Friday 26th April.
From 10am till 12pm before the wall opens and also 2 hours long instead of the usual 90mins. And limited to a maximum 8 participants
We will be running 6 week blocks of NICAS sessions.
These NICAS classes will be catered to home-school.
These are £15 a session or you can block book 6 for the price of 5.
We will be accepting new climbers at the beginning of the 6 week blocks to keep consistency as these sessions need to be attended on a regular basis.
The National Indoor Climbing Award Schemes (NICAS®) are an introduction to climbing and provide a gateway to learning more about the sport.
The key aim is to provide a safe introduction to climbing for young people aged 7 years and up on artificial climbing structures (e.g indoor climbing walls). Those who are keen to progress through to the higher levels also start to look wider and learn more about the history, ethics and styles of both indoor and outdoor climbing.
A pass at Level 3 NICAS is the same as pass at GCSE. More information on NICAS can be found on our NICAS page.
