What you need to know!

Before climbing at The Wall at ROF 59, all participants are required to complete a registration form. For those with prior climbing experience, we will carry out a competency check to ensure you are familiar with proper climbing techniques and safety procedures. If you’re new to climbing, our experienced instructors will provide a comprehensive introduction, including how to safely use the auto belays and navigate the bouldering walls. Our goal is to ensure that everyone climbs confidently and safely while having a great time!

We have instructional video’s which we require you to watch on the website before using the centre.

Roped Walls

The Wall @Rof59 Climbing Centre stands at an impressive 21 meters high and stretches 26 meters in length, offering a diverse and challenging experience for climbers of all levels. It features 49 climbing lines and a total of 147 routes, providing a wide variety of options to suit different styles and skill levels. With carefully designed holds and routes, the wall caters to both beginners looking to develop their technique and experienced climbers seeking a tough challenge. Whether you’re training for a competition or just climbing for fun, this wall promises an exciting and rewarding experience.

Speed Wall

The has an official Olympic speed climbing wall, designed to meet international competition standards. Standing at 15 meters high with a standardized route, it provides the perfect environment for climbers to test and improve their speed, precision, and technique. Whether you’re training for competition or just looking to challenge yourself, our speed wall offers an exhilarating experience and the opportunity to push your personal best.

Bouldering Walls

Our bouldering wall features 100 problems ranging from grades 3 to 7b, providing a wide variety of climbing challenges for all skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner working on fundamentals or an experienced climber looking to push your limits, the diverse set of problems ensures there’s always something new to tackle. Thoughtfully designed to test strength, technique, and problem-solving, our bouldering wall offers a dynamic and engaging climbing experience.

Training Boards

At The Wall at ROF 59, we offer a range of training facilities to help you build strength and improve your technique. Our training area includes campus boards for developing power and finger strength, a hangboard for targeted grip training, and a 30-degree wooden light-up board that provides interactive training with customizable routes. We also have a 45-degree spray wall packed with holds to challenge your balance, strength, and problem-solving skills. Whether you’re training for a competition or just looking to improve, our facilities have everything you need to take your climbing to the next level.

Courses

The Wall offers a comprehensive range of courses tailored to all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn the basics or an advanced climber aiming to refine your technique, we have a course for you. We provide specialized classes for both children and adults, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment. Our offerings include a Learn to Lead course, where climbers can develop confidence and technical skills for lead climbing, and a Learning to Fall course, designed to teach proper falling techniques to help reduce fear and improve overall climbing performance. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to helping you reach your climbing goals, whatever they may be.

Groups/Corporate

Make your child’s party unforgettable with our Clip and Climb and Climbing Wall experiences! Perfect for kids of all ages, our parties offer a fun, safe, and exciting environment where children can explore a variety of climbing challenges. . Our instructors will ensure the session is fun and engaging, guiding the kids through games and challenges. After climbing, we will pass you over to leisure to enjoy a party room where the celebrations can continue with food and drinks. It’s the perfect mix of adventure and celebration!
